“ADAEZE”: African Queen in Fashizblack Magazine

Hi Fabulous Friends!

I am excited to share with you the latest spread I styled for the French edition of  Fashizblack Magazine’s April/May issue titled: “ADAEZE”. It was a gorgeous take on traditional and contemporary African fashion. And I also love that they used my name, Adaeze, for the story. The name “Adaeze” means “daughter of a king” in the Nigerian language of Igbo. How fab and regal!

I collaborated with photographer MG Oania, makeup artist Gayle Carbajal, hair stylist Myki, model Geli and my assistant Trenton Dallas. We used the beautiful H and M art gallery in Harlem for our location.

Special thanks to Fashizblack Magazine, Mercura Eyewear, Jewel by Lisa, Tory Burch, L.A.M.B and Anne Woodman.

xoxo

Joy Adaeze
