The calm has settled in now that NYFW is over. I have some projects here in NYC so I won’t be attending the shows in Europe this season. ‘Till February! But on another note, let’s look back at my daily NYFW look!. I will also included a fun play – by – play of the week, by way of my eBay Daily NYFW Diary. You many remember last season, in February, I collaborated with Bebe’s blog Stylust to record the week’s adventures!
Let’s get into it!
THE LOOK
Calf length skirts are one of the biggest trends this Fall, so I decided to get on the mix with this vintage shirt and skirt duo (compliments of my mom!). I accessorized the look with one of my fave heels right now: Steve Madden Marlenee camo ankle straps (get exact pair!), my all-time fave python and crocodile clutch by Khirma Eliazov (The Herzog), fun blue floral Mercura shades (closer detail here) and I finished it all off with a silk turban from my upcoming turban line!!

1950’s meets 2013, sleek and chic! Happy shopping : )
DAY 1: NYFW
(as seen on eBay’s Style Stories!)
My first show of the NYFW season is always BCBG at Lincoln Center, 10am. After hailing a quick cab, I was on my way! It’s never a dull moment outside the tents—there’s fabulously dressed attendees mixed with eager street style photographers—quite the harmonious mix. I got snapped several times, which is always fun.
While inside the show, I spotted singer Estelle, celebrity stylist June Ambrose perched front row with her cuter-than-cute daughter. Also close by were bloggers: Aimee Song and Chriselle Lim. The show was pure BCBG: airy fabrics, light hues and clever cutouts. So wearbable and fun!
After the show, I headed to Starbucks around the corner to check my email and jot down some notes. Aside from blogging, I’m also a writer and cover shows for Huffington Post.
Finalizing shows for the week!
After a bit more work on the computer, I headed to Tadashi Shoji‘s romantic show. It was all about lace dresses and beautiful gowns. Tadashi never misses a step when it comes to making women feel absolutely gorgeous!
After the show, it was time to grab a quick lunch! For a quick me up, I like PJ Clarks for their turkey burgers. Not too heavy and very tasty.
After lunch, I jetted off to one of my last shows of the day: Desigual! It was all about color, print and having fun! There was a joyful touch on everything from t-shirts to jumpsuits. Wonderful show!
That’s it for Day 1!
