My San Francisco Looks!

Life has been a whilrwind since the start of my new job as fashion blogger for FabSugar and Fashionologie! (Check out my latest post on Fashionologie right now: Fall 2012 Ad Campaigns, which is Most Popular on the site!!! One of my stories for FabSugar is Look of the Day, where I choose a fav look from our readers!)

I have missed you guys : ) Although I am writing for these two blogs, I will definitely continue to post regularly here because JoyLovesFashion is one of my greatest passions! I took a bit of an absence right after I got back from San Francisco 2 weeks ago when things got super busy a work. I’ve gotten settled in and I’m excited to share some pictures with you from my trip! I took a bunch of photos of my San Francisco looks and those of you who follow me on twiiter (@joyadaeze) and instagram (fashionistajoyadaeze) may have already seen a few. I had fun with fashion during in SF! The weather was a bit cooler out there which gave me the opportunity to play around with light layers and soft scarves, particularly my creme BCBGeneration (below) that I rocked many a day!

Let’s Get Started!

I wore this on my first day at the SF Sugar Inc office. I love the colorblocking and leopard prints. Def one of my fav looks of the trip!

*Gifted BCBGeneration dress and scarf, Vintage blazer, Ivanka Trump Leopard kitten heels coutesy of Zappos, Versace for H&M bracelet, H&M lucite ring and gifted Peace Images earrings*

I call this my “James Dean” hairstyle! Red lips- Estee Lauder “Cherry Kiss”

Hotel room snaps

*Vintage shirt & glasses, F21 skinny jeans, Urban Outfitters flats, Thrifted belt, H&M earrings, Necklace got at a NYC Street fair!*

Out and about in my pretty pink maxiskirt, army jacket and snakeskin boots!

I love the juxtapostion of a girly skirt and a tough army jacket.

I am in lust with these Matisse snakeskin boots! So glad I could bring them out to play in SF!

I use this Rafe wristlet as my makeup pouch. Yes, indeed! #swag lol

One of my all time favorite statement necklace and a pair of vintage pearl earrings. Such a lady!

*Guess vintage army jacket, Vintage sweater & earrings, H&M maxi skirt & necklace, Matisse boots courtesy of Zappos, Rafe wristlet*

One of my favorite moments of my SF trip was when I ventured out to the de Young Museum to witness the amazing Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit! It was everything I hoped for and more. So fab that I went the next day! Click here for photos.

The exhibit was an amazing, once of a lifetime experience and I am so grateful that I was able to see it during my trip.

Getting ready in my hotel room!

Yay, got to wear my Matisse boots again! Felt somewhat thankful for the cooler weather especially with the crazy heat wave happening at the same time in NYC!

Versace for H&M bracelet, one of my many loves!

Pink lip today courtesy of my staple- Makeup Forever #36!

In the JPG gift store after the exhibit! Posin’ : ) Love this dress.

*Silence & Noise maxidress from Urban Outfitters, H&M jean jacket & shades, BCBGeneration creme scarf, Matisse boots, Versace for H&M bracelet, Gold necklace from my Khirma Eliazov clutch!*

One day while eating breakfast before heading to the office, I had my picture taken by a clothing store company, McMullen. They were doing an exhibit and asked me to be one of their muses. I got to pick a fashion quote that best described my personal style.

It says “Be individual. There is no correct formula in fashion today”.

My thoughts exactly!

*H&M sheer button down top and metallic pleated skirt, Ivank Trunp leopard kitten heels, Furla bag, Versace for H&M bracelet and vintage necklace*

Which outfit of my SF trip is your fav?

Mine? A tie between my Silence and Noise beige maxidress and army jacket and pink maxi skirt!
