Voyage To Nigeria in NNATIVE Top And Skirt!

joyadaezennativejoyadaezeysljoyadaezeaccessoriesA couple weeks ago, I took a trip to Nigeria. I’ve been to Nigeria a total of four times in my life (I even went to school there when I was 16- amazing experience!) but this was my first time visiting the capitol, Abuja. I was there to be a bridesmaid in my boyfriend’s sister’s wedding. It was absolutely beautiful! There’s truly nothing like a Nigerian wedding or party! So much joy, music, food! Everyone has a ball. If you get a chance to attend one, take it! You definitely don’t want to miss out! Here are some pics from the fab day

Obi and I flew to Nigeria on Arik Airlines  and the trip started off with a relaxing experience in their Business Class Lounge where Obi and I ate fresh fruit and enjoyed refreshments while waiting for our plane to board. Much better than the usual cramped waiting area! So relaxing. Our trip was made even easier with Arik’s new online check-in. We didn’t have to waste anytime when we arrived at LaGuardia. Once on board, we enjoyed a first class flight to Nigeria. Perfect way to fly.

On the last day of the four day trip, I had a chance to sneak in some outfit pics in front of Obi’s sister’s house! I am wearing a new Nigerian designer called NNATIVE, a clothing line dedicated to the authenticity of traditional African prints with a contemporary edge. The designer, Jacqueline Jorgi, is a longtime family friend and I was thrilled when she told me she launched the line just a couple months ago!

I love this top and skirt, its so chic and innovative. The back detailing is gorgeous!
