Yesterday, I shared my Day 1 NYFW look and eBay diary that I documented during all 8 days of fashion week. I’ll have these diary entries up here on JLF too, along with additional pics!

Now onto Day 2!  This day called for some print and pizzazz! After all, I had German TV‘s Exclusiv (similar to E here in the states) filming with me! It was a jam packed day of shows, shooting, presentations and culminating in an amazing event: Daily Front Row’s First Annual Fashion Media Awards which brought out Lady Gaga, Marc Jacobs, Heidi Klum, Karlie Kloss and many many more! But more about that later in my Daily Diary ; ).

How awesome was it that Vogue.com included my accessories of the day in their street style? Shot by Brandon Staton of Humans of New York!! Insane! Thank you, Brandon: ).

THE LOOK

I am wearing an amazingly printed creation: the Glacial City dress by Clover Canyon, heels by Steve Madden, clutch by Khirma Eliazov, ear cuff by So Good and mirror monkey shades by Mercura! This was my first time wearing Clover Canyon and I am now in love with this creative Los Angeles design duo. It’s wearable art without breaking the bank. Also- this was the MOST comfortable dress I’ve ever worn! Special thanks to Letty over at Rent The Runway for sending it over : ). This flirty frock flatters every figure with the help of its sexy A-line silhouette. The print also creates an illusion of a cinched waist. What’s not to love?!

DAY 2: NYFW

Day 2 began with the Rubin & Chapelle presentation downtown on at the Standard Hotel penthouse. The weather was warm and the view, paired with the clothing was absolutely breathtaking. I wish every show could take place here. The draping and deep charcoal hues were a standout.

At Rubin & Chapelle, I filmed with German TV’s, Exclusiv. They were doing a story on the day in the life of a blogger during NYFW and followed me around for three days, while doing fun interviews.

After the show, the cameraman Sasha, producer Sandra and I left for Lincoln Center to take in the Rebecca Minkoff show. And what a show! Janelle Monae amped up the crowd with an electrifying performance as the models took to the runway in cool separates with unexpected pops of color. More designers should do live performances.

After Rebecca Minkoff, there was a car to take us to Daily Front Row’s first annual Fashion Media Awards. This event will go down in history as the most epic! That night I rubbed shoulders with Betsey Johnson, Karlie Kloss, legendary stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Carine Roitfeld, and many more. And it didn’t stop there. Tim Gunn, Marc Jacobs, and Lady Gaga were amongst those who presented awards that night!
