…aka NYC getaway for a day (or few)

Hey guys! Since moving to NYC 3 years ago, I don’t have the opportunity to drive much. And sometimes I miss it. Over the Summer, I attended an awesome cooking event at the Brooklyn Kitchen thrown by Buick. The event was awesome: we cooked mushroom risotto, delish baked chicken and rhubarb tart for desert! Afterwards, I got a ride home in the gorgeous Buick Encore.

Fast forward to a couple week ago: I had a busy weekend planned (Black Girl Beauty brunch downtown, visiting my mom in NJ and a really fun trip to my alma mater, Rutgers University in New Brunswick.) The kind people at General Motors lent me their 2014 Buick Encore and I had a ball! The car handles beautifully and is so chic. I love the sound system and the interior’s leather seats were so comfortable. It was a great experience! 

I had an outfit post shoot in NJ as well. Here are some outtakes of me and Betty the Buick. Yeah, I named her lol.
