White after Labor Day? Yes, please!
As you may know, I am a die-hard color-lover. I’ve probably tried every hue under the rainbow, but there is truly nothing more refreshing than classic, clean white. “Winter white” took over the runways this season with designers like Derek Lam, Proneza Shouler and Céline showing looks of stark white and cream.

White is so unexpected in cooler weather which makes it so chic. I love a good surprise, don’t you?! Turns out this pristine non-hue is actually a great fit for frigid temps. Imagine a snowy morning: a white oversized boyfriend coat, white leather pants and a grey pair of booties: Perfection.
The best way to get in on the white trend this season is by wearing it from head to toe, except for shoes (here you can add in your color, girls!). Throw on vibrant accessories which will shine even brighter against your pale ensemble. It was a tad warmer on the day I shot this “White Trends” story on Soho’s beautifully stoned streets. I chose a quilted TopShop top and skirt combo. I love the look of gold and white so I threw on my fave pair of YSL platforms. The jewelry was the icing on the cake, literally and figuratively. My necklace is from Lulu Frost‘s Spring 2014 collection. I think it is purely a piece of art. I am a huge fan of Lulu Frost and was like a kid in a candy store while picking out pieces in their showroom. (Special thanks to my Collective Agency PR fam : ). Two of my bracelets are also by Lulu. The cord one is Holst + Lee and the “love” is by Forever 21.
I like to use my wallets as clutches, which comes in handy during last minute events. Today, I am wearing a buttery soft one by Lili Radu. It is my fav wallet thus far and keeps me super organized! Of course, to top it all off, I am wearing my silk turban (from my upcoming line!).
