How To Dress For Fall
Fall fashion is always a bit tricky. The weather’s warm one day and freezing the next. To make getting dressed a lil easier, I’ve started incorporating pieces that are transitional and easy to layer. My favorites are chic long sleeve shirts and leather pants/leggings. Both are light enough for a warmer day but can be layered up when the temp drops.
The blouse I’m rocking is Bien Abye by talented Haitian designer Dayanne Danier. I love supporting talented Black designers who are often overlooked in the mainstream, media. Dayanne and I met when I was invited to speak on a panel for the Black Dress exhibit in April. She emailed me that night and we’ve kept in touch ever since! I love the quality of her clothes and they are so beautiful! This blouse is art. I am obsessed with the sheer sleeves and white color blocking detail. Bravo, Dayanne!
You can see me rockin’ another great piece by Bien Abye here.
