When it comes to perfume, I am definitely known to go through phases. Not too long ago I took to wearing Odin New York 04, which is actually a men’s cologne… But it had this amazing scent, plus I felt cool and original. Menswear, anyone? Now, Odin was from a gift bag, several seasons ago (I got 2 bottles, gave one to my boyfriend, who has been a bit stubborn and won’t wear it. Sorry to put you out there, babe. lol) so it’s time for a change. 

Ever the girly girl, I ventured into Sephora last Friday after a particularly long and trying afternoon. I stumbled upon the perfume aisle where my eyes drifted to a very pretty and amazing bottle of Prada Candy! Yes Yes Yes!

I took one sniff and was sold. The notes: caramel, musk, vanilla, and benjoin (no idea what that is BUT I likes!), are sweet but not too sweet. Hmm, how to describe? It’s like a warm Summer’s day on the beach in a fabulous new bikini, one hand on your mojito and another flipping through Bazaar. On a yacht. In the South of France. Yes, sort of like that.

Yup, I’ve found my new “iconic scent” (a term I coined as an image consultant for a fragrance that totally embodies your essence. Of, yes, very deep : ). And it’ll make a lovely and meaningful gift for my 4th year anniversary tomorrow. Dropping (not-so-sublte-as-in-an-email-with-direct-purchase-link) hints to the bf as we speak ; )
