Hello Divas!

Everyone who knows me, knows I absolutely adore vintage (esp from the 70’s and 80’s!). I just love the fashion and style of that era! And thanks to my fashionable and chic mom, I have tons of vintage hand-me-downs: tops, blouses, skirts, sweaters, belts, dresses the list goes wonderfully on and on!

My favorite thing to do is mix vintage pieces with modern staples! It brings a whole new dynamic to the outfit and you mesh two very different looks to create what I call “vintage chic”!

My recent “vintage meets modern” look was this totally Fab 80’s plaid top paired with black leggings, brown boots and a gold and black clutch! I wore this to a Bday party at a lounge in NYC and it was def the highlight of my night!

Details:

*The plaid top has black buttons down the back which is such an awesome twist. And I absolutely ADORE the puffed shoulders! Also love that the pink color is unexpected for plaid!

*The leggings are from Italy and they are my favorite pair of black leggings ever! Super comfortable and sexy!

*The boots are from Payless (gasp!). Could you believe that? They are so cool and I continuously get compliments! Great classic equestrian style and wonderful quality!

*The accessories! I kept to a gold and black theme wearing a gold and black necklace and same color clutch. Added on my staple gold chain bracelet and for a twist, a gold bling bracelet. My “belt” is pretty amazing since its actually a really old necklace! I love how it totally completes the look!
